Art has been a lifelong companion, rooted in my bones. As a child, I found solace in creating, inspired by artists like Michelangelo and supported by my father, who nurtured my passion. I also found refuge in making art because I was a quiet, introverted child. While life led me through diverse roles—wife, mother, lab tech, teacher, graphic designer, and more—I always returned to art, a constant source of satisfaction and fulfillment. I was a romantic and in love with beauty, be it my husband’s music, my adorable children, the fantastic beauty of the human body, or the struggle of a child to learn and grow.

Seeking to refine my skills, I embarked on a third journey through college, where I discovered a talent for three-dimensional works. This revelation took me down a new path: felting. Through Marie Spaulding's inspiring videos on Living Felt, I fell in love with wool, transforming airy visions into tangible characters that bring joy to others.

Each morning, fresh ideas flow to me in a dream-like state, begging to be brought to life. The thrill of creating something from nearly nothing and sharing it with the world motivates me. "Look what I made for you!" Through my art, I seek to inspire joy in those around me—my ultimate why.
